I also did a little online browsing to address my issue of paper storage. A very frugal solution is to get a legal size, plastic container and Penda-flex folders to separate colors and/or patterns. It would look something like this.
What I think I really want are these clear stacking trays. One site had them 10 trays for $60, but I found the same thing at a different site (here's the link) for $49.95. I suppose I should check shipping charges to see which one will really save me money.
And many of you may know of several online stores from which to purchase supplies, but I want to mention Scrapbook Super Center, which seems to have it all for reasonable prices.I am off to find my Cozumel pictures and plan my next pages! Before I go, these are the creative scrapbookers I have visited and commented on since earlier this week. I think I've hit them all!

ReplyDeleteAs far as an easy digital program, I've got two suggestions -
You can try out my Heritage Makers website -
http://www.MakingScrapbooks.com to learn more. The basic membership is free. It's very easy to use. You will need to be online to use the program.
If you prefer to work off line, Memory Mixer is a great program! It's very easy to use, and you can add digital elements that you find on the internet. I have the limited edition version of it called LifeTimez, but it's the same thing. I use it when I'm not connected to the internet. Then I upload the completed pages to my Heritage Makers account for creating completed books to be printed.
Hopefully that all makes sense.
Both are very easy to use, without the learning curve of photoshop. Both also allow you to be completely creative with your pages, so you feel like you are still "scrapbooking".
If you've got any questions on either, feel free to contact me. I don't sell Memory Mixer, but I'm quite familiar with how it works.
forgetfulone, yes my birthday's tomorrow... stop by and celebrate it with me. There will be cake and balloons! Scrpabooking seems like a lot of fun! :D
