If you like scrapbooking, card-making, or enjoy any type of paper crafts, please join us for Sunday Scrappin'! We post our ta-da's, our to-do's, and our optional challenges. It's a fun way to meet other crafters and "talk shop."
My ta-da's this week:
1. I finished a two page layout called Take the Plunge about my kids' swimming lessons. I probably need to add some journaling, but I love the paper I used and the water droplet die cuts.
2. I did this week's challenge.
3. This isn't a paper craft, but it kept me from getting much crafting done. I painted my entire living room by myself (prep work, paint, cleaning, etc.). It took me two days. The only thing my husband did was help take the TV off the wall and pull down a few pieces of blue tape. I did everything else myself!
My to-do's this week:
1. Complete at least two 2-page layouts.
2. Use the suggestions at Page Maps for layout ideas.
3. Participate in a challenge at 52 sketches, my second one.
4. Set up another scrap night at Archiver's with my sister before she has to go back to work.
Challenge
The challenge was to step outside your box. That means, if you typically do traditional scrapbooking, try digital or a card. I mostly do traditional scrapping, and I've made a few digital pages, so I decided to make a thank you card.
I hope everyone had a great week! I look forward to seeing what everyone's been up to.
That is great you painted the living room!
ReplyDeleteI like the thank you card.
Sorry you had problems commenting on my blog yesterday.
