5 Minutes for Mom teamed up with CLR Bath and Kitchen Cleaner for this week's Tackle-it-Tuesday. CLR says it "cuts through calcium, lime and hard water deposits, soap scum, dulling film and dirt." We'll just see about that! My project involved the bathroom. There was some icky, black stuff parked on the metal strip at the bottom of the shower door. I've been trying to get it clean for a long time, but nothing would cut through that grime. However, I put my gloves on, sprayed the CLR on it, and waited a couple of minutes with high hopes. Guess what? I wiped it down with a sponge, and it came right off! Here are before and after pictures.
And since it worked well on the grime on the shower door, I decided to try it in the toilet bowl. Not bad!

Wow, I'll have to get some. Fortunately I have a new fixtures due to this horrid remodel, but maybe I can keep it from happening by starting now.

ReplyDeletemy husband bought this cleaner called purple cleaner.. it worked the same kind of miracle on my fan filter under the microwave and above the stove top.

Ohhh. I need to do my showers! I havent cleaned them in probably 10 months. I hate doing showers. You make it sound so easy! I just might tackle it this weekend. I will keep you updated. =D
