I found a new website today that I really like. Take a look at The Power of Housewife Word of Mouth. Christine is a mom who keeps a "daily journal on creative parenting... parenting a disabled child, and a gifted child. Rants and raves of products. Living a better life on a budget."
I really enjoyed her post where she deemed herself The Winner of the Bad Mom Award. Haven't we all been there?
I also found her post about early Black Friday ads to be quite informative. I'm not sure if I'm getting out in the Black Friday mess this year or not. I swore I would never do it again, then I did it last year, and I swore again - never - but as it approaches, who knows?
Housewife is also a member of the Family Review Network, and she has written reviews about some innovative products, but she keeps her blog real. It's not one of those "all reviews" blogs. If you have a special needs child, a gifted child, any kind of child, you're sure to relate tomany of her posts!

ReplyDeleteI'll go check her out. After yesterday and the rude almost mob like crowds I encountered I don't think I'll go anywhere on Black Friday! Maybe I'll just stay home, make hot chocolate, play Christmas Carols and decorate so I start the season on a happy note!!
