I was summoned to jury duty on Monday for an aggravated robbery case. I wanted to get selected, simply to avoid a crazy week at work, but I wasn't chosen. I've served on one jury before, a civil case.
My question is... Have you ever served on a jury? If so, what kind of case was it?
No I've never been picked.

I did once but the case ended up getting dismissed. Lucky me!
ReplyDeleteWith being from a police family, I do not. I have a pretty strong opinion on crime. guilty, guilty, guilty. this make me not a good candidate;)

ReplyDeleteI've never been summoned for jury duty - until a couple of years ago...but it was going to be a major 2+ week inconvenience, so I wrote a letter to the court asking to be excused from jury duty since we didn't have childcare (I did get excused). Now if I had been summoned when I was still working, I would have done everything in my power to be chosen to have some time off work and still get paid! ;)

I'm 62 years old, and I've never served on a jury -- never even been invited! I love NCIS, CSI, Law and Order ... all of those shows ... and I would LOVE to serve on a jury. Go figure.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
