In the beginning,
there was love…
And fear,
and joy,
and an overwhelming sense
of responsibility.
And constant worry.
Am I doing this right? What if... ?
In the beginning,
I had no idea the extreme happiness motherhood could bring.
Or the tears,
the
serious fears,
the frustrations,
the rewards.
Now, there is still love,
and fear,
and joy,
and
overwhelming responsibility and worry.
But there is also pride in the way things have happened,
the lessons
learned,
the trials,
the triumphs.
Most
of all,
there is unending love.

ReplyDeleteIn the beginning, I made it through only by making up some of the rules along the way. In the end, I know that love and faith and holding hands was just enough.
