I'm linking up with Sandee and Stacy.
I just watched Michael Jackson's last rehearsal before he died (on the TV show How it Really Happened). The song was "Earth Song." Very emotional. He was just a few years older than me, and I saw him grow up on TV, first singing with his family then his solo career. He had 13 number one hits - and collaborated on another one that gives him 14, more than anyone else in history. My three favorite songs that we used to dance to in the clubs when I was in college are "Don't Stop till you get Enough," "Wanna be Startin' Somethin'," and "P.Y.T." I like so many more, though! What are your favorites?
I have been watching Christmas movies every day for ten days now. They are so formulaic, but I don't care! I even watched one I had watched last year! It's one type of normalcy in a very abnormal way of life right now. I wonder if I'm going to get to see any of my relatives over Christmas. Probably not, unless the weather cooperates and we can gather outside. That's totally possible here in Southeast Texas. I remember playing outside in shorts on Christmas when I was little. I also remember a time it snowed on Christmas Eve. Bi-polar weather!
One more observation before I get to some funnies... With all of the advances we have made in clothing, fabrics, etc., why are women's bras still made with hook-and-eye closures? There are maybe two alternatives but, for the most part, it's hook-and-eye. Why?
So true for us!!!!! |
I actually said this a few days ago! |
This cracked me up! |
