I'm linking up with Stacy Uncorked (Random Thoughts) and Comedy Plus (Happy Tuesday).
My mom just celebrated her 78th birthday! I went over to her house to celebrate a couple of days early, and it worked out great because... I was able to take her to get a COVID vaccine that day!
My step-son is an ER nurse, and he was able to have up to 2 people in his immediate family come get the vaccine. My husband and I talked it over and decided it would be better for our parents to get the vaccine than us. My father-in-law is 91. I feel so much better about letting them take it instead of us. They'll get their 2nd doses in about a month, I think.
I also took my kitty to the vet for updated shots and an exam. She's a "senior" catizen, age 12 and a half. They have it set up for curbside service. They come to the car and pick up the animal after they call you to go over what they will do, then the vet actually calls you to tell you how the visit went, then you pay by phone and they bring your pet back to the car. Genius!
File this under :You've got to see it to believe it!
Not saved by the bell! Saved by the whale!!
Last November, a train in the Netherlands derailed on an elevated track; however, instead of crashing to the ground, they were saved by the whale tail! Luckily, the train driver was the only person on board. That could have been horrible!
And now...
I'd be happy to! LOL |
Last, but not least...
Have a great week!
