Today I am linking up with Create with Joy.
Hello friends! I hope your week was productive, or at least fun. Mine was a little of both. More trips to the doctor and taking care of business with my mom and myself, but I had time to try a new recipe and a new project.
Here is my made-from-scratch meal of the week! Actually, the pappardelle pasta was store-bought, but everything else wasn't. I made meatballs (ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, a smidge of tomato paste, garlic, onions, basil, oregano, and onion powder). I used a recipe from Little Broken blog to make creamy vodka sauce. If I make it again, I will add more basil, garlic, and salt, but it was pretty good. On the side, we had a tomato/cucumber salad (basil, parmesan, a drop of balsamic vinegar, and a dollop of Caesar dressing). It was fun bringing all this together!
I also made this cute scrunchie following a video tutorial from Made Everyday. It will match a skirt I am making for my daughter. I don't know why I made the scrunchie first, but I like the way it turned out.
I got a lot done in the way of ironing fabric as mentioned last week, but now I have even more ironing to do! I have lots of sewing projects in my queue.
I hope you have a great weekend. Do something you love!
What a terrific meal! And the scrunchie is adorable. We hope you have a marvellously Happy Week!
