Today's T13 is brought to you by Rao's Homemade Marinara Sauce. Not just any marinara... SENSITIVE marinara. I thought that was so funny! How can a sauce be sensitive? Well, I figured it out a little later, but it got me thinking... what exactly did the word sensitive mean? I have some examples below.

3. easily upset
4. self conscious
5. emotional
6. delicate
7. touchy
8. tense
9. unstable
10. high strung
11. susceptible
12. perceptive
13. easily annoyed
But in this case, sensitive means that the marinara is made without onion and garlic. I then had to ask myself, "Who wants marinara with no onion and garlic?"
I have 4 jars of Rao's in my pantry (hey, it was a sale, and it isn't the cheapest marinara on the planet) I found this hilarious. I'm going to have to look for that the next time I'm at the store. But I agree with you--no garlic and onion--is it REALLY marinara at that point?

ReplyDeleteI could go for the no onions and garlic. Still having tummy issues and a recent try with Ragu didn't go so well.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely not keen on Ragu. Rao's costs more, but the flavors are so good. Hope your tummy issues get better!
