My sister and I just got to the scrapbook retreat! The car was completely loaded down with materials. Remembering what to pack is essential. It's awful to get 4 hours away from home and realize you've forgotten something.
First, I packed
1. Photos (the most important thing!)
2. Paper (this takes the most room - patterned, themed, solid colors. So. Much. Paper.
3. Adhesive (tape runner, glue dots, glue stick, pop dots, adhesive squares, etc.)
and the last absolute essential
4. Paper trimmer and scissors.
That's just the basic stuff. You need more if you want your pages to look pretty.
5. Corner rounder (rounded edges of photos usually looked better.
6. Flowers
7. Brads
8. Stickers
9. Die Cuts
10. Ribbon
11. Bling (blingy shapes, flourishes, dots, etc.)
And it's helpful to haveNot my page; just an example.
12. Ruler
13. Awl
There are so many other tools such as punches, Xyron, Cricut, computer, printer, stamp ink, chalk, pens, and the list goes on.
BUT IT'S SO MUCH FUN!

ReplyDeleteI have never done scrapbooking. I always thought it looked like fun, but also time consuming. I'm glad you enjoyed it (and had all of those supplies!).
ReplyDeleteI used to be into paper crafting for several years! This is a great list of things to have on your check list before departing! Nice!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds wonderful and a little overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds great! I started junk journaling fairly recently, and love it.
