Hello! Hope your week has started off in a good way.
My sister is going to M. D. Anderson Cancer Center (world famous for cancer treatments) tomorrow to get a second opinion about her condition. She will likely begin chemotherapy Monday. Depending on the chemo route she takes, it will occur either every 21 or 28 days and she will need 5 to 6 treatments with radiation in between.
I still haven't heard back from the genetic testing place, so I will have to call them again. They also treat cancer patients, so genetic testing may not be their priority. I don't know what the hold-up is.
New topic - Have you been listening to the way people express the fact they haven't seen each other in a while? I hear this frequently, in fact, heard it on the TV show S.W.A.T. today... "It's been a minute since I saw you." A MINUTE? How did a minute become a synonym for "a long time?" I guess I'm just not cool like some people!

New topic - The Chase building in downtown Dallas has a unique feature. It has a curved glass top and a hole at the top of the building, thus it's nicknamed the Keyhole Building. The whole at the top is 75 feet high, 27 feet wide, and 80 feet deep.

There is an urban legend that a plane once flew through the opening at the top, but the only object I could confirm to fly through it is a drone. (You can view that video here.) I doubt a plane could fit, even the smallest plane in the world, the STAR Bumble Bee II (which was built for the sole purpose of setting the world's smallest plane record). Besides, SBBII crashed one month after its maiden flight. A helicopter might fit, though.
Moving on... Here's a "joke" I saw at a Japanese restaurant in Dallas.
Perfect for my middle school sense of humor! |
For fans of Outlander or other time-travelling shows and movies:
And one more time joke:
What did the parent plane say to the child plane?
Funny, but true!
Wonder if this would have helped me when my twins were little?
Genius!
And last, but not least:Have a great week!

We noticed that minute thing lately too. No idea where that is coming from. Great funnies!
ReplyDeleteLots of good funnies. I watch a lot of British shows and have to call my grandson-in-law to have him tell me the meaning of lots of the words they use.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard the minute one yet, but I'm old.
ReplyDeleteLove the fart one. I laughed out loud.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
